Matthews-Edge Sand is a family-operated aggregate producer in Raleigh, NC with a long-standing reputation for serving the Raleigh area and surrounding communities. We are the area's premier provider of aggregate materials such as sand, gravel, river rock, topsoil, fill dirt and more through our two strategically located sand operations. Our focus is to provide the highest-quality materials and services to our customers.

Formed in 2022, Matthews-Edge Sand is the combination of two family owned and operated businesses, Matthews Sand & Gravel and Edge Aggregates.

 

Matthews Sand & Gravel has been in the sand and gravel industry since 1963 with its sand pit operations located in Princeton, NC and serving Johnston, Wayne, and Wake counties.

Edge Aggregates began producing sand and gravel in 2021 with its sand pit operations located in Battleboro, NC and serving Edgecombe, Nash, and Wake counties.
